The Time of the Lone Wolf Is Over

…Catchy introduction material that speaks directly to the need and the risk involved in not meeting the need.

What can I do for you?

What is Hakomi?

I help support my clients with their healing and growth using a therapeutic modality called Hakomi. Using these techniques,

I gently hold space for and guide my clients as they:

  • Practice mindful inner reflection

  • Process and release stuck emotions

  • Recognize and release limiting core beliefs

  • Choose and actualize new perspectives that support healing and growth

  • Enhance the mind-body connection

  • Harmonize and synergize the relationship between various aspects of self, including ….

  • Discover the keys the client already holds to unlock their transformation

  • Find and utilize organizational tools to support the adoption of new, healthy habits and support regular progress towards my client’s goals

Pronounced (. ), Hakomi literally means “who are you” in Hopi, and traditionally was translated as “how do you stand in relation to all these realms?”

In Hakomi, we work mindfully together to access non-ordinary states of consciousness where deep healing can occur. This can include riding the waves of emotional process or interfacing with the inner child.

It is a gentle, feminine modality that prioritizes safety and the needs of the client, while powerfully provoking lasting change.

A bit more about my style…

I draw from:

  • Hakomi methods learned in the Embodywise Hakomi Somatic Coaching training program

  • Theta Healing’s techniques for identifying limiting beliefs and adopting new, more supportive beliefs

  • Jungian psychology and dream analysis techniques

  • Ram Dass’ teachings pertaining to mindfulness and cultivating loving awareness

  • 15 years of yogic practice and meditation

  • Astrological, elemental, and archetypical studies

  • Long-term practice of self-led journalling therapy

My inspiration for this work comes from:

  • Personal experience of the potency of this method to create rapid and lasting transformations

  • Desire to be of service to the healing of my fellow humans

  • Recognition of the inaccessibility of traditional therapy

  • The great joy and fulfillment that comes from living my purpose

A Coach, A Guide, A Space-holder — not a “therapist”

Please note that I am not a licensed therapist so I cannot legally call this “therapy.” Hence, we have the growing field of coaching. This is the more accessible option for supporting the inner work that needs to happen.

If you or someone you love are currently experiencing a mental health crisis, severe symptoms, or situation of abuse, I recommend you find a professional, licensed therapist or call a free, 24-hour help hotline like this one:

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration National Helpline: 1-800-662-HELP

Also for this reason, I unfortunately cannot work with insurance.

All sessions and content discussed therein are 100% confidential and kept within the professional container.

It’s important to me to assess whether or not I will be able to support you in achieving your desired results, so as you prepare for our meeting, I invite you to consider the following:

  • Do you have any unmet needs or desires? If so, what are they?

  • In your awareness, what has been blocking the fulfillment of these needs and desires?

Vision & Mission

I envision a world where people feel more empowered to live authentically and in alignment to their own goals, values, visions, and dreams, through fostering a true and living connection to all aspects of themselves and promoting synergistic relationships within these aspects of self (such as various aspects of our identity, our felt sense of the world, our inner children, our emotions, our will, our voices, our hearts, our bodies, and our spirits).

More available and affordable support means quicker and more sustainable healing and growth for the people, which naturally ripples out healing and growth for the children, the animals, the Earth’s present and future, and all of Life.

And so, I have dedicated myself to learning the art of nurturing, space-holding, and supporting healing and growth, because I feel strongly that this whole world could be a much better place if more people had more support along their healing and growing journeys.

While many of us, me included, have been carrying along the burden of this inner work on our own backs, the time of the lone wolf is over. It is my opinion that we were never meant to do this work alone.
